Caring for Those Affected by Flooding
As our region continues to recover from this week’s severe flooding and evacuations, I want to express our shared concern for those who have been impacted — whether directly or through loved ones.
Dear ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø Community,
As our region continues to recover from this week’s severe flooding and evacuations, I want to express our shared concern for those who have been impacted — whether directly or through loved ones. Please know that we are here to support you in any way we can, and that the ħ¶¼×ÊÔ´Íø community is holding you in our thoughts.
Our Student and Campus Life team has been reaching out to students from the most affected areas, and I want to remind everyone of the campus resources available. If you need assistance, please connect with your instructors, supervisors, or student support services. Here are some resources available to you:
Students
- Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
- Dean of Students: deanofstudents@seattleu.edu
- (24-hour virtual Talk Now)
- Campus Ministers are available in Student Center 120 or by calling 206-296-6053 for an appointment.
Faculty and Staff
- (through Human Resources)
- Contact the Center for Jesuit Education at 206-296-6133 or centerforjesuiteducation@seattleu.edu.
To all our students finishing their finals, I wish you well as you wrap up the fall term. With Christmas and the holiday season upon us — a time we spend with family and friends — let’s continue to care for one another and keep those most affected in our hearts.
Warmly,
Eduardo Peñalver
President
