Biography

After earning my Master’s Degree in LGBT Affirmative Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, I relocated to 魔都资源网 in 2009. I have been teaching graduate students in the theories and application of systemic clinical psychology since 2014. I especially love working with students during their clinical internship, supporting their growth as new clinicians.

I am currently a Board Member at Large, former President, and founding board member of OCD Washington, an affiliate of the International OCD Foundation. I have also served as Secretary for WAMFT, the Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

As a therapist, I tend to practice using “big umbrella” CBT: incorporating ACT, Metacognitive Therapy, Inference-based Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (I-CBT), and DBT. My clinical home is in Narrative Therapy, which is also reflected in my approach to supervision.

In my private practice, I particularly enjoy helping couples struggling with the relational impact of OCD and anxiety disorders. With couples, I utilize the techniques of Gottman Method Couples Therapy: I have completed the Level 3 Practicum Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and I find joy in helping couples achieve the relationship they desire.

I enjoy building Lego, knitting, and constructing crossword puzzles. (I do occasionally engage in non-grid-based hobbies!)
